When you use Venture Factory AI, we collect the following categories of data:

• Business intake data: Information you enter into the strategy intake form, including venture name, industry, stage, goals, customer type, and business description.
• Generated strategy content: The AI-generated strategy documents produced by the platform are stored and associated with your account so you can access them later.
• Usage data: We track token usage (an estimate of AI processing usage) per strategy generation to manage platform costs and quality.
• Shareable link data: If you share your strategy via a public link, that document becomes readable by anyone with the link.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Generate your venture strategy document via our AI engine
• Store and display your past strategy documents
• Enforce the free tier limit (3 strategies per user)
• Monitor platform usage for operational and cost management purposes
• Communicate with you if you reach out via email

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data to train AI models without explicit consent.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform infrastructure. Strategy documents, user accounts, and intake data are protected with standard security measures. Access to your data is restricted to you and DOVENTURES administrators.

5. Public Sharing

If you choose to share your strategy using the platform's share feature, a read-only version of your strategy document becomes accessible to anyone with the unique link. Shared documents include your venture name, industry, and the AI-generated content. These shared pages are not indexed by search engines and are not publicly discoverable — they are only accessible to people who have been given the direct link. You can manage or revoke sharing at any time by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

Venture Factory AI uses the following third-party services in its operation:

• Base44 — platform infrastructure, database, and authentication
• AI model providers — for strategy generation (inputs are sent to AI models for processing; we do not control their data retention policies, but we use industry-standard API providers)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of any non-essential communications

8. Data Retention

We retain your strategy data and account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or operational purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
